Adding Admins to Your CS2 Server

📌 Prerequisites

• A Counter-Strike 2 server purchased at VolticHost.com

• Access to VolticHost Game Panel

• Admin privileges and the relevant admin configuration files or plugins installed

1️⃣ Accessing the Admin Configuration File

1. Log in to VolticHost Game Panel.

2. Click on your Counter-Strike 2 server.

3. Navigate to the File Manager.

4. Locate the admins_simple.ini (or relevant admin config file) in the server directory.

5. Click Edit to open the file for modifications.

✅ Admin configuration file is now open for editing!

2️⃣ Adding an Admin Entry

1. In the admin configuration file, add a new line for each admin in the following format:

   "STEAM_0:1:12345678" "admin" "password"
   

2. Replace STEAM_0:1:12345678 with the admin's Steam ID, "admin" with their access level, and "password" with a secure password if required by your setup.

3. This entry grants the specified user administrative rights, allowing them to manage the server.

4. Click Save File to confirm your changes.

1. Navigate to the Console tab in VolticHost Game Panel.

2. Click Stop to shut down the server.
