Setting Up FTP Access in Voltic Host Web Panel

FTP (File Transfer Protocol) allows you to securely upload, edit, and manage website files. This tutorial will guide you through setting up and using FTP in Voltic Host Web Panel.


📌 Prerequisites

  • A web hosting account with Voltic Host.

  • Access to Voltic Host Web Panel.

  • An FTP client such as FileZilla (recommended).


1️⃣ Creating an FTP Account

  1. Log in to Voltic Host Web Panel.

  2. Navigate to the FTP section in the panel.

  3. Click Add FTP Account.

  4. Enter a username (e.g., ftpuser).

  5. Choose a password and confirm it.

  6. Set the Path to:

    /home/user/web/example.com/public_html/
    
  7. Click Save to create the FTP account.

Your FTP account is now created!


2️⃣ Connecting to Your Server via FTP

  1. Open FileZilla (or your preferred FTP client).

  2. In the Host field, enter your server’s IP address or domain (e.g., ftp.example.com).

  3. Enter your FTP username and password.

  4. Set the Port to 21.

  5. Click Quickconnect to establish a connection.

You are now connected to your server via FTP!


3️⃣ Uploading and Managing Files

  1. Navigate to the remote directory:

    /home/user/web/example.com/public_html/
    
  2. Drag and drop files from your local system to the server.

  3. Verify that files appear in the directory.

Your website files are now uploaded and accessible!
