Setting Up and Managing Server Backups for an ARK: Survival Evolved Server

Backups are essential for preventing data loss, restoring player progress, and recovering from crashes or corruption. Setting up automatic and manual backups ensures that your ARK: Survival Evolved server data remains secure.

This guide will walk you through enabling scheduled backups, creating manual backups, and restoring backups in VolticHost Game Panel.

📌 Prerequisites

• An ARK: Survival Evolved server purchased at VolticHost.com

• Access to VolticHost Game Panel

• Sufficient storage space for backups

1️⃣ Enable Automatic Backups

1. Log in to VolticHost Game Panel.

2. Click on your ARK: Survival Evolved server.

3. Navigate to the Schedules tab.

4. Click Create New Schedule.

5. Enter a name, such as Auto Backups.

6. Set how often backups should run (e.g., every 12 hours).

7. Click Create Schedule.

1. Under the newly created Auto Backups schedule, click New Task.
