Configuring Player and Dino Levels on an ARK: Survival Evolved Server in VolticHost Game Panel

Adjusting player and dino level progression allows you to increase max level caps, modify XP requirements, and fine-tune stat gains on your ARK: Survival Evolved server. This is ideal for custom balance, PvP tuning, and endgame content expansion.

This guide will walk you through changing max levels, XP curves, and stat progression in VolticHost Game Panel.

📌 Prerequisites

• An ARK: Survival Evolved server purchased at VolticHost.com

• Access to VolticHost Game Panel

1️⃣ Adjust Player Max Level Cap

1. Log in to VolticHost Game Panel

2. Click on your ARK: Survival Evolved server.

3. Navigate to the File Manager tab.

4. Open the following file for editing:

   /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/Game.ini
   

5. Add the following lines at the bottom to increase the player level cap:

   [/script/shootergame.shootergamemode]
   LevelExperienceRampOverrides=(ExperiencePointsForLevel[0]=5,ExperiencePointsForLevel[1]=10,ExperiencePointsForLevel[2]=20,ExperiencePointsForLevel[3]=50)
   

   • Add more levels by increasing the ExperiencePointsForLevel values.

   • The higher the number, the more XP required per level.

6. Click Save File.

✅ Your player max level cap is now modified!

2️⃣ Increase Dino Max Level Cap

1. Open Game.ini again.

2. Add the following lines below the player XP settings:

1. Navigate to the File Manager in VolticHost Game Panel.

2. Open Game.ini and add the following lines under [ServerSettings]:

   PerLevelStatsMultiplier_Player[0]=1.5
   PerLevelStatsMultiplier_Player[1]=2.0
   PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[0]=1.3
   PerLevelStatsMultiplier_DinoTamed[1]=2.5
   

   • Player[0] = Health

   • Player[1] = Stamina

   • DinoTamed[0] = Health

   • DinoTamed[1] = Stamina

3. Click Save File.

✅ Players and tamed dinos will now have increased stats per level!

4️⃣ Restart the Server to Apply Changes

1. Go to the Console tab in VolticHost Game Panel.

2. Click Stop to shut down the server.

3. Wait a few seconds, then click Start to restart the server.

✅ All new level settings are now active!

1. Join your ARK server.

2. Level up a player or tame a dino to check new XP values.

3. If adjustments are needed, tweak values in Game.ini, save changes, and restart the server.
