Changing Server Rates and Multipliers for an ARK: Survival Evolved Server

Adjusting server rates and multipliers lets you customize game difficulty, resource collection, experience gain, and taming speed on your ARK: Survival Evolved server. This is useful for PvP, PvE, or custom modded servers that require different gameplay balances.

This guide will walk you through modifying XP rates, harvesting multipliers, taming speed, and other server rates in VolticHost Game Panel.

📌 Prerequisites

1️⃣ Adjust Server Rates in VolticHost Game Panel

  1. Log in to VolticHost Game Panel

  2. Click on your ARK: Survival Evolved server.

  3. Navigate to the Startup tab.

  4. Locate the following rate settings and adjust them as needed:

    • XP Multiplier: XPMultiplier=2.0 (Increase XP gain)

    • Taming Speed Multiplier: TamingSpeedMultiplier=5.0 (Faster taming)

    • Harvest Amount Multiplier: HarvestAmountMultiplier=3.0 (More resources per harvest)

    • Dino Damage Multiplier: DinoDamageMultiplier=1.5 (Stronger dinos)

    • Player Damage Multiplier: PlayerDamageMultiplier=1.5 (More player attack power)

  5. Click Save Changes.

✅ Your ARK server multipliers are now updated!

2️⃣ Modify GameUserSettings.ini for Advanced Configuration

  1. Navigate to the File Manager in VolticHost Game Panel.

  2. Open the following file for editing:

    /ShooterGame/Saved/Config/LinuxServer/GameUserSettings.ini

  3. Under [ServerSettings], add or modify any of the following multipliers:

  4. Click Save File.

3️⃣ Restart the Server to Apply Changes

  1. Go to the Console tab in VolticHost Game Panel.

  2. Click Stop to shut down the server.

  3. Wait a few seconds, then click Start to restart the server.

✅ Your new server rates are now active!

4️⃣ Verify Server Rates in Game

  1. Join your ARK server.

  2. Test XP gain, taming speed, and harvesting rates.

  3. If adjustments are needed, tweak values in VolticHost Game Panel and restart the server.
